Summary

The Remap Falloff transforms existing falloff attribute values using various remapping techniques including range fitting, clamping, inversion, absolute values, and custom curve-based transformations. Essential for fine-tuning and adjusting falloff patterns created by other falloff operators.

Supports automatic or manual input range detection, custom output ranges, and optional custom ramp curves for non-linear transformations. You can clamp values to specific ranges, invert falloff patterns, or apply absolute values for symmetrical effects.

The remapped results can be written to the same attribute or a different one, and previewed with color ramps for visual feedback. This makes Remap Falloff a powerful post-processing tool for refining falloff values to match specific artistic or technical requirements.

Parameters

GroupGroup
If there are input groups, specifying a group name in this field will cause this POPX to act only upon the group specified.
Input AttributeInputattr
Name of the falloff attribute to read values from for remapping.
Output AttributeOutputattr
Name of the attribute to write the remapped falloff values to.
ClampClamp
When enabled, constrains falloff values to the 0-1 range.
FitFit
Enables remapping of falloff values from an input range to an output range.

Automatically determines input range from actual min/max falloff values.
